Deadline for All Applications - May 06th, 2016 5:00 PM PST

The Enterprise Resource Planning division of the Applications Group of North America (AGONA) Inc. is inviting up to 10 students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or a university to participate in an 8-week internship program during the summer of 2016. Selected Interns will be provided with hands on training and development on Oracle JD Edwards Systems Software and an introduction to various third party integrations.

Successful Interns will be equipped and given an opportunity to apply for placement by AGONA to various leading firms as functional and technical Oracle JDE consultants upon completion of the 8 week program. Business, Finance and Information Technology majors are highly encouraged to apply.

This is an unpaid internship program. Interns will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. Housing is not provided.

The non-monetary value for the 2016 Summer internship program is approximately $25,000 (based on similar Oracle JDE Training Costs for an 8 week program).

Tasks and Responsibilities

Once accepted into the AGONA internship program, participants will be expected to participate full-time for the entire 8-week term of the program.

Interns will be expected to participate in person at work sessions from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (schedule may vary by team).

The summer 2016 internship term will begin on June 27, 2016 and end on August 19, 2016 (actual dates may be adjusted to accommodate schedules and holidays).

Program location: AGONA headquarters located at 10465 Park Meadows Drive, Suite 101, in Lone Tree, CO 80126.

Required skills and abilities

Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and should currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university. All majors are encouraged to apply.

Program applicants must provide the following:

1. Current resume

2. A cover letter indicating your interest in the program.

3. Essay: Your answer should be between 300-500 words in length

In no more than 500 words, please describe the most challenging situation or issue you have encountered, how you were able to overcome and rise above the issue, the steps you took to overcome the issues and the lessons learned. If you had to do it all over again, would you make the same decisions?

4. Two letters of recommendation with email addresses and phone numbers (from professors, managers or supervisors, not friends, co-workers or family)
